Pizza Bubble Waffles

Made with Gold Medal’s Pizza Popcorn Seasoning for extra flavor, pizza bubble waffles are full of cheesy goodness!

Ingredients

• 1 bag #5018 Old Fashioned Waffle Mix
• 10 cups of water
• 2 1/4 cup #2354 Pizza Popcorn Seasoning
• For smaller batches of pizza bubble waffles, use 1/4 cup pizza seasoning for every 2 cups batter.
• Shredded mozzarella cheese
• Pepperoni
• Pizza sauce or ranch (for dipping)

Directions

• Pour waffle mix into a bowl and add 5 cups of water. Mix using a wire whisk until smooth.
• Add the remaining 5 cups of water while mixing for 30 seconds.
• Scrape the sides of the bowl and continue to mix for 1 minute or until smooth.
• Add Pizza Popcorn Seasoning and mix.
• Rest batter for 10 minutes, then stir batter down.
• Pour half the waffle batter on a seasoned Gold Medal Puff Popper Baker #5055ET.
• Sprinkle generously with shredded cheese and pepperoni.
• Pour remaining waffle batter on top.
• Bake for approximately 2 1/2 minutes at 400˚F.
• Remove waffle from waffle iron and cut into triangles.
• Serve with pizza sauce or ranch for dipping.
