Salty Chocolate Caramel Popcorn
Serve up this sweet and salty treat at your next event. With just a few ingredients you can offer decadent Salty Chocolate Caramel Popcorn.
Ingredients
- 5 gallons of popcorn popped in white coconut oil
- 1 package of Caramel Corn Treats Mix #2094
- 4 ounces of yellow coconut oil #2652
- 4 cups of Brown Sugar
- 12 ounces of water
- 1 pound of butter
- 1 bottle of Free N Easy #2250QT
- 1 cup of #5377 Milk Chocolate wafers
- Sea Salt Shaker
Directions
- Take lid off Mark 5 Cooker Mixer
- Turn on heat/motor switch on
- Add the following directly to the cooker mixer
- 4oz. of yellow coconut oil #2652
- 1 package of Caramel Corn Treats Mix #2094
- 4 cups of brown sugar
- 12oz. of water
- Place the lid back on the cooker mixer
- Begin to melt the milk chocolate wafers slowly in the microwave, stirring frequently
- When buzzer sounds, turn heat/motor switch OFF
- Turn motor switch ON
- Take lid off the cooker mixer
- Add the 5 gallons of popped popcorn to the cooker mixer
- Tilt Cooker to 2nd position to let popcorn mix
- Spray 10 squirts of #2250Qt
- Let popcorn mix for 1 minute inside cooker mixer or until fully coated
- Dump popcorn into cooling tray
- Cool popcorn for 5 minutes by stirring popcorn constantly
- Take a spoon and drizzle the 1 cup of milk chocolate over the popcorn
- Sprinkle sea salt over the popcorn
- Allow popcorn and chocolate to cool
- Bag or store popcorn
